In 1996, the Nihonmatsu Factory started operation at the Hiraishi Takada Industrial Park in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. It has a “new administrative wing” that has an Administrative Department and a cafeteria and functions as the headquarters, a “first factory” and “second factory” that are our main manufacturing facilities, and a “development center” that is the center of research and development.

first factory
At the first factory, which has 4 floors, we can carry out all processes from manufacturing, reaction to shipping of Taiyo Fine Chemicals products.

second factory
The second factory, completed in 2011, manufactures Acid Red 289.

development center
The “Development Center”, which was established in 2014, is positioned as the center of development of functional dyes and new products, and is also used as a place for human resource development.

Strengthening new business creation and personnel development
The Ranzan Lab sets itself apart from our previous testing facility by featuring the latest in the advanced equipment that will help us create new businesses. From high-performance analyzers such as NMR, GCMS, and LCMS to advanced measurement instruments such as FE-SEM, AFM, and a white light interference microscope, this new facility enables functional and speedy R&D. A major feature of the Ranzan Lab is the ability to conduct internal reliability evaluations for the wide range of materials we create.
